Box girder formwork - Sri Lanka
THE PROJECT
The project is located in the heart of the city of Colombo and consists of two main flyovers of which one is a two-lanes bidirectional flyover along Uththarananda Mawatha and the other which is a two-lanes unidirectional flyover along Justice Akbar Mawatha. Connection the two main flyovers is a Branch Flyover which has two lanes in it.
The detail of the flyovers are as follows:
1. Justice Akbar Mawatha flyover – 183m
2. Uththarananda Mawatha flyover – 360m
3. Branch flyover – 278m
4. Approach bridge construction – 20.5

1. Design & calculation fabrication drawings, working method statement
2. Fabrication of steel mould and accessories
3. Trial mock-up at the factory
4. Logistics to Client’s port
5. Support Client installation mock-up on site, technical support
